Wellness Check

New York Chapter NABMW-Speaks out on Wellness during COVID pandemic

Last night(July 24,2020) the NYC-NABMW had a dynamic Wellness check on its members as well as members from Sister Chapters in Los Angeles, CA, Brooklyn New York and Atlanta GA.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our life styles, and altered daily routines. We are concerned about finances, social isolation, getting sick, how long the pandemic will last and what the future will bring. Inaddition to rumors and many around us not taking the pandemic serious.

The NYC-NABMW provides us with a chance to stay in touch with each other, to show and express our love to one another. Regardless, what part of the country we live in. We want every member of NABMW to know we care about them and their families.

Included in the wellness checks we share our self care strategies for good mental and physical health. We know GOD is in control. As members of NABMW we want to support our members and help them recognize what’s typical and what is not. Stress can sneak up on us due to the multiple challenges of effects of COVID-19 pandemic. Remember join one of the local NABMW chapters and stay connected.
